Duties and Responsibilities: Under general supervision, the Secretary of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) performs general secretarial duties, including typewriter. The duties associated with the position include, but are not limited to: word processing, formatting, proofreading and editing various legal documents. Adapt and/or write letters on your own initiative or in response to requests for information. 5 years of secretarial experience in the legal framework. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Be able to schedule appointments, answer client phone calls, make new calls, manage cases and prepare cases for court. Review and proofread prepared documents to correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, format, syntax and content. Answer phone, manage Outlook calendars and contact lists (including scheduling meetings and calls on national and international time zones); Fax. One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-secondary education. – Knowledge of Spanish preferred, but not required.
